Mr. Tartacular is our globe-trotting prankster who is always in search of his next palate-puckering adventure. His quarterly rotating series of fruit-saturated sours have become something of a legend in the Lake Tahoe area. The spring release - Mr. Tartacular's Forbidden Fruit Threesome - combines 1.3 pounds per gallon of passion fruit, peaches and plums with a stainless-fermented (not kettled soured) sour ale. All that wonderful fruit is allowed to ferment to a medium-dry finish, leaving the beer firmly tart, deeply juicy and endlessly drinkable. Our fantastically whimsical original can art is brought to you by our uber-talented designer, Daryll Peirce.  

Gluten-Reduced! We are proud that all of our beers are gluten-reduced, using an enzyme that breaks down specific protein compounds without affecting other beer characteristics like mouthfeel, flavor and aroma. SHIPPING INFO: we ship beer on Mondays and Wednesdays only. This is to minimize the amount of time in transit to protect beer quality to the greatest extent possible (i.e we don't want your beer sitting in a warm warehouse over the weekend).
