The story is equally as long as the original brew day. One day Don Webb of Naked City Brewing had Shawn Loring over to make a tapioca gose. You know, like every brewery has been doing for years. They crafted a beer we couldn't forget and we asked them to participate in doing it again with an IPA.
This go around we cooked tapioca pearls with brown sugar and combined them with the mash to convert the starches and impart their flavors. Brewed with Ella, FR Barbe Rouge & experimental HBC 472 hops. It's fruity and quirky just like boba tea. But don’t worry, no boba will have made it to your can or keg.
